I run classes for Glass and Ceramics on a one-to-one basis. Three hours sessions are ideal.
Ceramics
For a three (3) days taster (one day a week) session - £200 including 7 kilos of clay, glazes and two firings.
Follow on one-to-one pottery sessions £60 for three hours which includes a good quantity of clay, some glazes and firings.
I have a selection of clays, (but mainly work in white earthenware) clear & white glazes and some coloured brush-on glazes available. Any extras there will be a nominal cost added.
If you wish to learn to throw you will need to book at three sessions (throwing one day, turning second day, glazing third day).
All tools provided.
If you just want to have a go and try throwing as a one off - I’ll help you to make a bowl and a mug - I will finish off by clear glazing and arrange for collection when ready. £65 - up to two people.
Glass
For one (1) session £80 (three hours) including up to 250grams glass.
I have a selection of sheet glass and coloured accessories and frits along with a selection slumping moulds.
You can make coasters, Christmas decorations, jewellery, small bowls or platters etc.

If you are looking for a more advanced class in fusing or casting you will need to book at least four sessions as each process can take some time. I have casting waxes and silicons for model making and plasters for casting. I’m very happy to discuss your project and requirements.
